VIRGIN MARY with CHILD JESUS BUST. Vintage 1954 handcarved wood statue bust of Virgin Mary holding Child Jesus; Virgin Mary with diadem on Her head and holding a scepter, Child Jesus holding the Globus Cruciger. Polychrome and gold leaf (gilded). Note the very nice movement of the robes and pleats.

It is signed MF and dated 54 on the back. The Bust can either stand or hang. Scepter is broken and needs to be glued, please see photo below. Size: circa 8.46 inch = 215 mm high and 3.23 inch = 173 mm at the widest part // Weight: circa 728gr. Please note I do not clean old or vintage items.
