Vintage Christmas french fold embossed greeting card. Condition is very good and clean and unused, with NO writing, with normal slight shelf wear overall. Card comes with unused envelope. And separate envelope shows shelf wear with NO writing. The inside images and front image do not lie back to back. Overall size is approximately is 4 6/16 inches by 5 10/16 inches, when folded. Card has not been folded to date. This print is also wonderful for framing, collage, to be dry mounted, craft and art projects and scrapbooking. Verse on front reads A Visit from St. T'was the Night before Christmas when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads " Inside verse reads " With every good WISH for a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR " " A Visit from St. Nicholas, is from the Poem by Clement C. Moore written for his little son of 1822. Since then it has become one of the most beloved of all the many Christmas stories.
